Blue Island Press has partnered with Xinh Creations to distribute a selection of these beautiful cards handcrafted by young hearing impaired Cambodian and Vietnamese women. This initiative is a not for profit project, rather it gives hope, joy and employment to disadvantaged young women.
Iris folding is a paper craft technique that involves folding strips of colored paper in such a way as to form a design. The center of the design forms an iris - a shape reminiscent of the iris diaphragm of a camera lens.
