Botticatli Birth of Venus is one of a series of quirky artist inspired caricature cat illustrations by UK-based designer Nia Gould (aka Niaski).  Her collection plays with the question "what if your favourite famous artist was a cat?"

Sandro Botticelli (1445-1510) was an Italian painter of the Early Renaissance. Botticelli's posthumous reputation suffered until the late 19th century, when he was rediscovered by the Pre-Raphaelites who stimulated a reappraisal of his work.
