About the design -

The white waratah is quite rare in the wild and was long thought to be a myth until it was found in the southern highlands of New South Wales in 1967.

In the dreaming of the D’harawal, all waratahs were white until a hawk spilt the blood of a wonga pigeon. A story of love, power and grief.
