Dominic Chaplin has been a full-time professional photographer in Australia since 1997. Whilst concentrating on portrait, commercial and sports work to make a living, his real passion is wildlife photography.
Dominic has travelled extensively both within Australia and overseas in the search for new subjects to cover. He has made multiple visits to New Guinea and spent more than a year travelling through Latin America.
These days Dominic is based in the dry savannah area west of Mareeba in Far North Queensland where, with his partner Lisa Tanner, he endeavours to provide a sanctuary for local native wildlife. Discover more at Pine Creek Pictures
