The Artist -
Eloise Short is an Illustrator and Textile Designer based in the beautiful Blue Mountains, Australia, where she lives with her family. Her inspiration is regularly drawn from her immediate surroundings as well as native flora and fauna further afield. With a background in textile design and visual art, Eloise’s work has been showcased in galleries, fashion and homeware ranges both locally and internationally. She has also illustrated a number of children’s books including the award-winning Leonard the Lyrebird. Eloise works in a variety of mediums, often combining hand-drawn or painted images with digital techniques.
The Charity -
The Indigenous Literacy Foundation is a national book industry charity, which aims to reduce the disadvantage experienced by children in remote Indigenous communities across Australia, by lifting literacy levels and instilling a lifelong love of reading.
Published by Blue Island Press, Sydney and a percentage of all sales of this pack is donated to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
